Cincy Golf-A-Thon is a 100 hole golf marathon, dinner & live auction:
Thirty-nine golfers, each w/player partner, will tee it up at Pebble Creek Golf Course to raise funds for local charities on Saturday, October 1, 2011.
Much like any fund-raising marathon -- where the participants get their friends, relatives, and associates to sponsor them for each mile they walk, frame they bowl, or book they read -- In The Cincy Golf-A-Thon, the golfers each set a goal to raise a minimum of $25/hole in pledges and commit to play a minimum of 100 holes on a given day.
Cincy Golf-Ball-Drop is a unique fundraiser created and hosted by The Smith Family Foundation to benefit local charitable organizations in a meaningful way.
In this event numbered raffle chances are sold, golf balls are numbered, and then dropped onto a target from high above. Prizes are awarded based on the winning numbered golf balls being the closest to a targeted area.
On Saturday, October 1, 2011, thousands of golf balls will be dropped at Pebble Creek Golf Course, with proceeds from the raffle going to local non profits.
